Demolition of the Social Insurance Institution building in Warsaw

Challenges

• The building's location in the strict city center created logistical challenges. Need to limit noise and dust due to the proximity of other buildings. Complex building structure required precise planning of demolition works. Necessity to segregate and properly manage demolition materials.

Our solutions

• We used specialized demolition machines with long-reach arms. We utilized sprinklers to minimize dust. Work was carried out in stages, ensuring careful segregation of materials. Debris transportation was scheduled at carefully planned times to minimize traffic disruptions. We applied diamond cutting technology for precision work.

Results

• Demolition was completed ahead of schedule. Over 90% of demolition materials were recycled. We achieved minimal impact on neighboring buildings and urban infrastructure. We prepared the site for new investment, meeting all requirements of the investor and city authorities. All work was completed without accidents.
